Two producers from the Spiritual Life alumnus have
a bash at a couple of soul ladies of yore.Still
Phil adds the merest of 4/4 drums to Roberta
Flack's "Tryin' Times",amplifies the bass and
stokes the atmosphere for a mix that will make
your hair stand on end.Over on the B-side,the MKL
Vs Soy Sos mix of Dinah Washington's "Baby, Did
You Hear?" pits the song against a set of dense,
exotic layers (tabla, double bass, sitar and
guitar).
