     Released: 11.10.05

After her truly meditative Zheng and poetry opus "Skymother
Mountain" released earlier this year on the Foxglove imprint
comes "Strange Weather From The Basement". Clocking in at
just under 30 minutes this is a concise yet rich suite of
avant-garde solo keyboard instrumentals on piano, Optigan and
electronic keyboard. Equal measures of strange, beauty and
charm combine in these pieces that seem to drift in from the
haunted ballroom. Backwards tape effects and the Optigan take
the set into altogether more psychedelic realms. "Strange
Weather From The Basement" comes dressed in cardboard sleeves
and inserts graced with Marianne's beautiful artwork, and is
     limited to 100 copies.
