Javier Marimon - Ulaghize [HNL002]
The story starts in a lost island in Cambodia, a morning empowered by
entheogens and a recurrent whiz that just made so much sense on the
space, time and speed we were thriving in.
"Ulaghize" is a word on the Ethiopian language Amharic, meaning
"Continually".
"Satta Massa Gana Ahamlack Ulaghize" has been widely used by Reggae
and Africanism artists meaning "praise to God continually".
In our multicolored world on that forgotten and almost virgin island
there was no God, or there was no need for it at least, as we were
surrounded by sacred nature and profane self-exploratory topics, but
that high pitched, soft and beautiful "Ulaghize" word from the
Abyssinians' song chorus started looping itself through the forest, we
got lost into the echoes of that word, and went into understanding
what "continually" meant in connection to ourselves, the world, living
creatures surrounding us, love around and other powerful deep-jungle
experiences.
