Before we shift our focus to end of year proceedings, we have
one more treat for you in store. Allies for Everyone returns to
ICONYC with a stunning 2 tracker, accompanied by a colossal
remix from Beatfreak head honcho D-Formation. AFE who needs no
introduction to the ardent listener, has been a regular on some
of the world's finest labels with his progressive and melodic
techno influenced driving productions. On his return he delivers
2 gorgeous originals in the form of the title track Faux Love
and Through the Wall which also gets the D-Formation remix
treatment.
The opening track 'Through the Wall' with its expansive synth
chords generate a driving rhythm before the atmospheric pads and
AFE's voice take over to create a beautiful setting. Combining
the best of both worlds, Allies for Everyone has come up with
something unique and distinctive to make this release extra
special, while applying an extra dose of groove and warmth to
this incredible tune. 'Through the Walls' stands for a fool
proof and state-of-the-art piece of music, which will readily
make you, take note and amaze in equal measures.
The sole remix of 'Through the Wall' comes courtesy of Beatfreak
label boss D-Formation. A massive entity in his own right, he
shows his experience, as the musical development is in full
swing. D-Formation kicks off proceedings with a deep, hypnotic
beat which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion a
profound floaty grooves and indie influences, turning this one
into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal.
Utilizing the hypnotizing groove, as the basis of the remix
underpinned by a deep bass that gradually eases its way to the
breakdown, before unleashing into the rising melodic hook
interwoven with the contagious groove for maximum effect.
To close out the release, Allies delivers another gem in the
form of the title track 'Faux Love'. Interspersing beats filled
with roomy glowing love, filtered stabs and stunning groove
which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and
excitement. The understated yet driving bassline powering the
groove along, as AFE manages to keep the energy up, allowing the
driving melodic house feel to shine thru. The many layers and
textures create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy
underground crowd pleaser. Essential stuff from Allies for
Everyone.
Allies for Everyone's return to the label is a triumphant one,
as he lays down the gauntlet for an aural perception
