      Vancouver based producer, performer, musician Iain Howie has built a     
     loyal following crafting smoldering, vocal driven house tracks for the    
      dancefloor.  On Reporting Fires, he builds upon critically acclaimed     
     releases via UK's Needwant and Berlin's Rhombus Recordings. The nine-     
      minute EP showcases Howie's unique sound that melds club beats, pop      
     melodies and live instrumentation.  The title track "Reporting Fires"     
      blends a deep house beat with a quirky synth groove and a dysphoric      
     refrain that is either a call to action or a plea for help. "Someone"     
         is a swelling slow-burner about coming to terms with a soured         
      relationship and offers a fitting counter-balance to the opener. The     
      two-song set sees the indie producer moving towards a wider audience     
               while signaling that he's in no rush to get there.              

     At 26 years old, Iain Howie has over a decade of beat making under his
