Sweet breezy keyboards -- and a great early session from Azymuth,
recording here under another name! The album's got a mellow
approach that takes the best bits of late 60s soundtrack styles --
particularly those from France and Italy -- and fuses them with a
sunny set of rhythms that sparkle in the post-bossa styles that
were being used heavily by the Blue Brazil posse at EMI/Odeon at
the time. Light electric piano and organ is mixed with snapping
little rhythms, warm basslines, and often some nice added elements,
including a bit of whistling! Tracks are mostly familiar 60s
soundtrack and pop standards -- done in really cool, moody,
electric versions that often get a slight bit of funk into the mix
-- and titles include "O Bofe", "Bossa Nova On Broadway", "Summer
Of 42", "Where Is The Love", "Mr Lucky", "Life For Life", "By The
Time I Get To Phoenix", and "Lil Darlin".
