this lad's mam must be so proud of him; he's a talented little
soul. every kind of genre of our hallowed dance music he turns to,
he hits the nail right on the head. 'seeing is believing' is an
energetic conga led disco dabbling dancer. things race along like
a whippet chasing a rag, up to a building piano. it's getting more
intense, synthy keys join forces in the breakdown. plenty of the
magic funk ingredient, not enough of jacqui hicks vocal though.
the flip reveals two future jazz efforts, 'so many worlds'
demanding the spins before the nice 'walking weird'. dropped 'so
many worlds' last weekend and the verbal enquiries were
forthcoming. broken beats, keys that might be just as at home on
donald byrd's 'places and spaces', or should that be 'dominoes'?
frikin hell, i need to dig that shit out again. any road, this is
real nice, jamie odell drops some more dance floor broken beats
business.
