unforscene are a bristol based collective whose live and
electronically manipulated sound amalgamates soundtrack music with
a fusion of latin and hip-hop creating an eclectic æmelting potÆ
sound that gives the music the best opportunity to be forever
changing. their influences stem from film score composers john
williams, lalo schifrin and bernard hermann and other musical
pioneers such as herbie hancock, tito puente and the more recent
sounds of rainer truby and fila brazillia. their debut "remote
viewing" e.p. for the kudos records label caught the attention of
the likes of gilles peterson, ashley beedle, pete lawrence,
laurent garnier and jazzanova to name a few.
this record "the sulston connection" is to be released on monday
7th august in conjunction with their live performance at the big
chillÆs enchanted garden 2000 festival (friday 4th august at 5pm
on the main stage). look out for their debut album in the autumn.
the cd single includes the first ep "remote viewing" thus making
it a mini-album at a single price! what the media have already
