│ │
│ Those Plastic Little boys are back with the first single from │
│ their forthcoming debut LP. "The Jump Off(1)" is standard P.Lil │
│ goofiness, with a super-crisp beat from in-house producer Squid │
│ and rhymes about "two elephants suckin' a dude's dick" û │
│ clearly, nothing's changed from last time around, and that's │
│ not a bad thing where these guys are concerned. On the back, │
│ Diplo lends his production skills to the plodding "Now I │
│ Holler(2)," the beat of which crafty interweb listeners will │
│ remember from Diplo's "Still Tippin'" remix last summer. With │
│ the Plastic boys doing their thing and the PJ Harvey sample │
│ popping up intermittently, this one's a winner. Also, the │
│ labels are a little messed up here, so just for you, steadfast │
│ reader, here's the truth: A Side û Jump Off dirty, Jump Off │
│ clean, Jump Off acapella; B Side û Jump Off (King Krash Remix), │
│ Now I Holler clean, Now I Holler dirty. Cover art by Espo. │
│ │
│ This is good shit, once you get past the badness. │
