ian o'brien's latest album is as varied as his musical influences
and inspirations. a melting pot with a decidedly jazz base, but
building upon everything from herbie hancock styled funk experi-
mentation to evocative washes of detroit techno. the second track,
`veksel' is without a doubt one of the most innovative electronic
music tracks of the year, featuring the percussion wizardry of
domu and a playful funk excursion of epic proportions.
