░ "Nocturne" is the third album of the ░
░ British band, who debuted in 2014 with ░
░ "Searching For The Lost Key" and did not ░
░ necessarily receive unqualified praise. In ░
░ terms of line-up, hardly anything has ░
░ changed: ░

░ The half-minute 'Prologue' is followed by ░
░ three medium-length songs in the ten- ░
░ minute range and finally by a nearly 21- ░
░ minute long track called 'The Child ░
░ Within'. That sounds so far already ░
░ tempting for the Prog fan. In the inlet it ░
░ is advised to listen to the album ideally ░
░ at night and if possible alone. And if you ░
░ listen in company, then you should at ░
░ least listen in silence and attentively ░
░ perceive the moods of the album. ░

░ Especially the widely used keyboards ░
░ create a gloomy, sometimes mystical mood. ░
░ In addition, there are solos on the ░
░ electric guitar again and again. At first, ░
░ the four-piece is purely instrumental on ░
░ the road, then in the last two songs ░
░ vocals are added, which was the reason for ░
░ clear criticism in the already presented. ░
░ And here too, unfortunately, it does not ░
░ get much better in this regard, this ░
░ remains the clear weak point of the band. ░
░ In contrast to the debut, it falls for the ░
░ author, however, not quite so much into ░

░ The keyboards are pleasing, in 'In The ░
░ Dead Of Night' (not a cover version of the ░
░ UK classic) the bass comes forward ░
░ sometimes. With the guitar parts one ░
░ wishes occasionally a little more variety, ░
░ isolated fresh unusual notes like the use ░
░ of a saxophone may be used in the future ░
░ with pleasure more often. ░

░ A slight increase can definitely be noted ░
░ on The Emerald Dawn, but the vocals of the ░
░ two main protagonists still offer a lot of ░
░ offense. Their special form of dark ░
░ symphonic prog should nevertheless ░
