One of the most popular ever set of remixes by BT, the magnificient Let
There Be Light from Oldfield's album "The Songs Of The Distant Earth".
I liked the original a lot and the BT mixes take the track to a new
level. Retaining the melody, "our" Brian creates those musical
landscapes that are a bluprint for what became quickly known as "epic
house". With more than a little help from Phil Dane and Rich Dekker it
has all the trade-marks of the of trance/progressive/epic house of that
period. Hardfloor do a good job as well and all people who liked Yeke
Yeke probably thought was top banana as well...
NB: This is the US CD single that contained bonus mixes that were not
listed on the sleeve, on the disk itself.
