the archive label was founded in 1999 by enrico "volcov" crivellaro
and frank siccardi with the logistic and economic support from
italian independent music publisher dipi∙, the same people that are
responsible for the birth of older sister sonica, the only italian
drumÆnÆbass label. on archive youÆll find deep house, electro,
melodic detroit techno, futuristic breakbeat and even hip hop (just
to create more confusion in the puristsÆ minds). the concept behind
the label is to put out timeless, collectable music so that the
back catalogue will always be in demand through the best
independent shops.
