Addicted2Fiction is an electronic hybrid band that hails from Brooklyn, NY but
is now based in Los Angeles, CA. Conceived of by Aisha and Hellskiss in July
2002, Addicted2Fiction's propulsive electronic instrumentation utilizes anything
within reach to create a unique, undeniably evocative sound. Their infectious
songs are punctuated by addictive retro-pop hooks, catchy melodies, layered bass
and drum tracks, sampled "found sounds", pulsating synths and shared vocal
duties. With the addition of John they also incorporate live video projection
into their performances, adding compelling manipulated imagery to the mix.
Their songs have been included in films & television programs such as "The Fast
and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" (Universal), "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"
season 4 premiere (Bravo) and "Ethan Mao" (Independent).
Some of their influences include Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Madonna,
Covenant, New Order & Fischerspooner.
