     A Harlem rap ensemble, The Boogie Boys were initially William D.
     Stroman (Kid Delight / Boogie Knight) and Keith Short (Kool Ski). On
     the strength of their song "Rappin Ain't No Thing", they landed a
     deal with Mike & Dave Records in 1981. This led to a deal with
     Capitol Records and collaborated with producer Ted Currier for their
     biggest song "A Fly Girl". When Keith Short left the group, Currier
     brought in Joe Malloy (Romeo J.D.) and Rudy Sheriff (Lil' Rahiem).
