        Release Notes:

        Formed within a week of meeting in the Florida summer of 2000, Safe/Mode
        is the first of multiple collaborative efforts between Scott Baker &
        Mark Warren. Safe/Mode's debut release reflects the duo's shared love
        for artists like Noise Unit, science fiction and horror film scores, and
        Japanese animation. Safe/Mode were quickly armed with dual Quasimidi
        Sirius synthesizers, a "Hot Fuzz"-sized DVD collection, and were early
        adopters of Sonic Syndicate's Orion music production software. Scott and
        Mark set out to create an experimental industrial sci-fi soundscape
        worthy of multiple trips to discover new layers on each listen.
