new EP Eternal Sequence, which sees the dancefloor effluvia being made
aerial to flirt with crystalline loops at the turns IDM.
The artist carves through the machines of futuristic landscapes with
images rooted in the sky, spinning on spiral axes with sustained
rhythms and subterranean incandescence.
Filip Xavi's EP is reminiscent of the work of Jeff Mills, composing
tracks filled with sci-fi tribes and shamanic trance repetitions,
dragging us into a panting dimension with regular shaking, covered
with a cloak of copper, conductor of telluric forces. Very highly
recommended.
