In the near future, reality is an ugly place and a generation of
virtual reality addicts spends most of their time in virtual
environments satisfying their online impulses, without any contact
with reality and surviving just to sustain their virtual existence.
But such a level of escapism triggered serious side effects, and as
people began to delve into these new realities, a growing number of
neurological disorders have emerged. Today, virtual reality is
marching into the mainstream, but questions about its long-term
effects remain. In Dysmetria, Phouz explores the daunting potential of
this next technological revolution with two pearls of dystopian
techno. The EP also features brilliant remixes by Paulo Foltz, Be_bop
and Kalmakorj.
