Derailleur announces new label Decade Box with the first in a series
of releases to share the fruits of his dedication to machine made
music. Hydraulic Performer EP will be the first record on Decade Box,
a sonic time capsule which will present the music honed by the
producer over the last 10 years.
The release sets the tone for the label series, showing off two
different sides of Derailleurs production styles. Title track
Hydraulic Performer is a raw and cutting rave-primed electro track.
Radioactive Man is called up to remix adding a new angle with his
precision drum programming and trademark grit. Device One rounds out
the EP, a wonky, jacking cut with stepping stabs and a seriously
infectious groove.
Physical release has enjoyed support from the likes of Sync 24
(Cultivated Electronics), Andy Barton (Bass Agenda), A-Future (Eon)
and Barker (Ostgut). As well as making it into Dave Clarke's Best
Electro 2019 list, the EP also scored 9/10 in the September issue of
DJ Magazine.
