Hip stuff from this obscure Polish organist - a great player, with a
talent that's as rich as Jimmy Smith during his classic Verve years.
Krzystof plays here on once side that features just organ and drums
- but the sound is super-full, thanks to his complicated work on the
keys. The other side of the album features Krzysztof as the main
soloist in front of the Jazz Studio Orchestra - in a manner that's
very much like some of Jimmy Smith's hip sides with Oliver Nelson's
band.
