With Shlerner, the joint project of the two exceptional talents from
Rostock, Schlepp Geist and Daniel Czerner, we are welcoming exactly
the right specialists to deliver the already third instalment of
Berlin label MohreRekorder. Quite in line with the motto "all good
things come in threes", the new release of the boys from the north
shines through a trio of wondrously musical masterpieces. Opening
their extended player "RAW" is the eponymous title-track. A tune
spiked with dark synths and heavy toms, whose majestic grace and
sluggish groove instantly makes clear which musical drive is to be
expected from the release.
The tool-like follow-up "Radiation" unmistakably goes down the same
path and stands out through its extremely club-oriented groove, a more
than drifting synth-line and the very catchy vocal, which the track
also owns its name to. The musical conclusion is then given by "Melt",
a more mellow tune compared to his predecessors. Who is not already
