██▓▓ Romanian Gigolo. Following the likes of THE ██▓▓
██▓▓ MODEL (fellow Romanian and close friend of ██▓▓
██▓▓ MASSTYK), MIHAI POPOVICIU and -=UHU=- the ██▓▓
██▓▓ great East Block Gigolo invasion continues ██▓▓
██▓▓ with MASSTYK. He made his Gigolo debut with ██▓▓
██▓▓ the sensational Dis Era, the penultimate ██▓▓
██▓▓ track on International Deejay Gigolos ██▓▓
██▓▓ compilation CD Nine selected by DJ HELL. Now ██▓▓
██▓▓ this superb tune is presented for the very ██▓▓
██▓▓ first time on 12" vinyl format together with ██▓▓
██▓▓ another great MASSTYK original song Mira. ██▓▓
██▓▓ MASSTYK has been listening to electronic ██▓▓
██▓▓ music and learning from it since 1995 and is ██▓▓
██▓▓ an avid collector of music. DJ HELL ██▓▓
██▓▓ astonished and inspired MASSTYK with his ██▓▓
██▓▓ track Eat My House on DiskoB with it's oh so ██▓▓
██▓▓ Bavarian video. MASSTYK was also encouraged ██▓▓
██▓▓ early on in his career by TOBI from ██▓▓
██▓▓ Stuttgart's Philpot Records. But it was the ██▓▓
██▓▓ A+R talents of Gigolos DJ HELL that now ██▓▓
██▓▓ brings long-time Gigolo fan MASSTYK to the ██▓▓
██▓▓ limelight he so deserves. ██▓▓
██▓▓ MASSTYK has been creating his own music ██▓▓
██▓▓ since 2000 and is particularly fascinated by ██▓▓
██▓▓ the immense possibilities of electronic ██▓▓
██▓▓ music. The music of MASSTYK (aka IONITA ██▓▓
██▓▓ SERGIU) has a dark brooding quality. Dis era ██▓▓
██▓▓ (unplugged) as it appears on the 12" is a ██▓▓
██▓▓ slightly extended version of the smashing ██▓▓
██▓▓ fresh tune that appeared on CD Nine. MASSTYK ██▓▓
██▓▓ has a new-Gigolo style quite unlike anything ██▓▓
██▓▓ you've heard before. The cheeky string riff ██▓▓
██▓▓ gives the number a really funky groove. This ██▓▓
██▓▓ is aerobic-pop of the finest quality. ██▓▓
