Eyes and ears forward, SMTHN joins the Resopal ranks with a brash yet
fluid reduced techno protest in a concepual way. SMTHN (Konrad Kujawa)
is a polish musician and techno producer based in cracow. He was
flirting with different musical genres and finally in 2015 started
producing techno tracks and djing under his alias.
The Disappearance of Peter Bergmannn reflects SMTHN's open-minded
reaction to new sounds and further experiments for the dance floor and
for home listening.
The statement behind this album is a conceptual story, a musical
journey of peter Bergmann.
The eight tracks free flow and are build around mixing techno with
ambient soundscpaes, field recordings and heavily processed samples.
Trying to find the balance between the 4/4, straight to the dancefloor
cuts and something more emotional and elusive.
