The Droid:
Specimen Records out of the UK has been around for a while now,
serving mostly throughout that time as the primary publishing arm for
label mastermind and Electro producer Eugene Black aka Black Art
Circus. Recently, however, the label has been on absolute fire, as it
ventures out to some serious up and coming gems in the scene as of
late, like Lloyd Stellar, Richard Easel, and now another one of the
UK's finest rising Electro artists, The Droid.
Releasing the album "Execute", he debuts on Specimen Records with 6
original works, along with 4 remixes by none other than Go Nuclear
(Bass Agenda), Dark Prophet (Crobot Muzik), Lloyd Stellar, and
Hardenberg, all in all delivering a full-length digital offering that
is nothing short of pure robotic funk, driven by strong futuristic
aesthetics, and intelligent programming.
