Release Notes:
Beyond the glamour, beyond the fleeting image of sex, drugs, and
Rock-N-Roll Beyond the career stifling demands of musical
sensationalism there emerge leaders, true innovators who rise
above the pop star laden cesspools of mediocrity. They are the
trendsetters, the icons by which we judge ourselves creating the
music by which we live. They are the musical legends whove shaped
our society. Today in this period of history it will be The
Visionary who sings OUR songs.
For many moons The Visionary has been perfecting his gift to move
crowds. A native to the beautiful Pacific Northwest - best known
for its Alt-Rock influence and grunge music that has shaped an
entire generation The Visionary is the emcee that ROCKS! With a
stage presence only adequately described as EXPLOSIVE, The
Visionary owns the stage, he owns the crowd, he owns the moment
itself. It is his passion for music, for love, for life itself and
the desire to rock that every audience identifies with. The
connection to his sound is based on one simple truth: If you live
on planet Earth you deal with the same *ISH$@..! as everyone else,
but each experience is authentic.
The Visionary supersedes the expectations of music lovers
effortlessly meshing different musical genres. His flawless blend
of Hip-Hop that Rocks & Rolls with Reggae and a poetic rhyme style
allow him to transcend the formulaic Top 40 one-hit wonder. He has
played more Rock and Punk shows than most garage bands dream of
attending. He has jammed with the best from P.O.D. and Switchfoot
to Brian Mc Knight, from Sir-Mix-A-Lot and Reliant K to the
underground legendary Visionaries. While signed to Tooth&Nail
Records The Visionary Soundscanned over 70,000 units.
The Visionarys music has been heard worldwide. He has produced
music radio and tv spots for companies including MTV, Fox Sports
Network, and Adidas. Tony Hawk (the Skateboard Legend) used
several songs from The Visionarys release Transparemcee in the
Tony Hawk Summer 2000 documentary video which aired on MTV2.
Abercrombie & Fitch aired in-store promotions of The Visionarys
national debut release including audio and video segments during
their Christmas shopping season worldwide. In addition, The
Visionarys face has been seen all across the globe as his modeling
portfolio is still in great demand. From MSN.com to Virgin Records
to Microsoft, best believe that if you havent heard him youve
definitely seen him! lifemusic Vol. 1: bobs Place is the newest
release from the Visionary and proves to be his best work to date!
A natural progression from his last release Transparemcee, The
Visionary is even more transparent and vulnerable proving there is
a power in vulnerability we cannot find in the arrogantly driven
status quo of hip-hop. People want something they can relate to,
something they can feel. The Visionary believes, If I cannot
relate to my audience we will never connect, and if we never
connect we will never accomplish much at all. I dont put on a
show, I create an opportunity for us all to experience life
together. On lifemusic the Visionary reaches into his soul and
pours out a lyrically emotional masterpiece onto a well produced
canvas of organic and nostalgic beats. The album grooves as the
Visionary takes you on a journey that feels strangely familiar. If
I dont inspire the listener in one way or the next I did not
effectively do my job as an artist, says The Visionary of his
artistry. Essentially, lifemusic bangs in all the right ways for
all the right reasons. Original in every way, The Visionary brings
more then a song its a movement. Dont miss the movement. Its here.
The Visionary is the next level of entertainmentlimitless!
