The State of the World E.P. brings you 4 new tracks by Philippe Petit.
Appearing develops a positive tone through layers of heavy bass and a
deep 808 kick that finally blooms into a warm synth line. Expanding
exults happiness thanks to its multiple layered bleepiness, aiming to
put the listener in a state of trance. Shrinking is a hard hitting
percussive affair, whose relentless beats, driving hi-hats patterns
and claps take you into what can be seen as a neverending downward
spiral. Disappearing rings the alarm with a 132 bpm fury of pads and
subtle acid, but it might already be too late…
