Release Notes:
Last year London based duo Noblesse Oblige, formed in early 2004 by
Franco/German pair Sebastian and Valerie, released two singles
"Bitch/Daddy (DonÆt Touch Me There)" and "Quel Genre De Garτon/Lil'
Dirty" on Horseglue Records. Their forthcoming debut album
"Privilege Entails Responsibility" is now ready to be released on
July 17th and comprises as the labels describes it "an eclectic mix
of disco punk, sixtiesÆ French chanson, military beats,
transgressive folklore and raw acoustic ballads with lyrical wit,
controversial lyrics, humour and bad taste." Noblesse Oblige have
recently remixed tracks for Mark Moore (S-Express), Xlover
(International Gigolo Records), Motormark (Digital Hardcore
Records), Musiccargo (Amontillado), Hiem (Crosstown Rebels) and
Temposhark (Paper & Glue). Their remix of Mark MooreÆs "Trash the
Can" has recently appeared on the Electric Pop 4 compilation
(Neuton/Rough Trade) among artists including Miss Kittin, T.
Raumschmiere and Black Strobe. Live favourite "Offensive Nonsense"
was released alongside Fixmer/McCarthy, Whitey and many others on
the Berlin Insane III compilation by the Pale Music Label in
Berlin. For more information browse to www.noblesseoblige.co.uk .
