Matteo Cortese returns on Evod Music with a 3 tracks EP. La Serpenta
Maledetta is a sci-fi exploration into purist sounds and powerful
grooves. La Serpenta Maledetta I is a minimalist, elegant tool,
characterized by a bleep sequence, a omnipresent low drone and dynamic
TR-909 drum patterns. La Serpenta Maledetta II follows the rules of
the first track, this time blending pure sine sounds with more complex
sound spectrums. La Serpenta Maledetta III contains a 8-bit sequence,
a complex and static drone, a subtle frequency modulated sequence, and
super drum patterns. This time too, Matteo Cortese confirms that he
can build bridges between hypnotic and powerful techno.
