Does time fly or Apparel Music's EXTRA catalogue is just grinding
great releases one after another recently? We haven't got the answer
to such a self-referential question (: but surely Jakob Apelian's
'Better Dimension' EP may be mentioned as one of the best new things!
The Swede's three track EP is stuffed with coolness, elegance, groove
and every other complimentative word that comes to your mind when
thinking of a masterly crafted House Music record. Better Dimension
has to be listened from start to end, all in one breath, as it's the
ideal array of Jakob's wonderful musical talent. 'Let Me Explain'
starts things off with a laid back beat, a never tiring piano loop and
a propulsive bass line. Needless to say how perfectly 'Kimchi Jazz'
fits our Jazzy guidelines with its skilfully reworked Jazz samples,
proper Apparel banger. The closing track is also the titles track, and
since the beginning it does take us to a 'Better Dimension'. What a
