     The Last Hurrah!! is an international pop/rock project whose constantly
     evolving lineup creates sounds drawing heavily from the music of the 60s
     and early 70s. The project was assembled in 2010 by successful veteran
     producer and multi-instrumentalist HP Gundersen (Sondra Lerche, Madrugada,
     Ane Brun, Tim Rose). He became obsessed with Stephen Stills' 'secret
     tuning' on "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," and he spent some time exploring music
     based on open, modal guitar tunings, hence his term for The Last Hurrah!!'s
     music: 'drone guitar'.

     "Spiritual Non-Believers" is a fascinating and lovely mix of acoustic drone
     guitar, cosmic raga, pure pop and the very local take on country music so
     special for the west coast of Norway. The half hour centrepiece of the
     album is based on a dark, sordid and bizarre story, in stark contrast to
     the almost high spirited feelgood atmosphere of most of the music. He is
     joined by Heidi Goodbye on vocals and a number of guests.
