│ We welcome Edinburgh based producer Kadien to Bonzai Progressive with
│ the top-notch, Sunrise. Kadien's sound is a balance of rhythm and
│ melody, which is manifested from his passion for dance music. He
│ started to learn about music from a young age, and after attending
│ Diynamic Music Festival in Amsterdam in 2018, he began to look at
│ producing darker, more progressive sounds. Influences from the likes of
│ Solomun and Denis Horvat continue to inspire him as he enriches his own
│ style. A pleasure to have him here.

│ The release opens with the Original Mix, a powerful, multi-layered,
│ dark progressive mover. Deep basses and contrasting melodic pads with
│ cinematic qualities combine beautifully as squelchy sequences seek
│ attention. Narik returns to Bonzai on remix duties, fresh off the back
│ of his last effort here, Albafica. He continues to impress and this
│ remix is no exception. On the remix, he has honed in on that cinema
│ style sound with the pads, adding layers of arpeggios and airy voices.
│ The break reveals rich, wide pads before the groove returns, keeping us
│ captivated for the duration.
