The saga continues! Starting as a four song EP back in 1998, the
Global Surveyor various artist project goes full length in Phase 2.
For the first time the label combines its resident acts Dagobert,
Sbassship and Ko Lute with international Electro producers such as
Mandroid (Breakin Records, UK), Germany's Dynamik Bass System (Gigolo
Records, Robotmachine Records) and MAS 2008 (Elektrolux, Twilight 76,
Electronic Corporation), Decal from Ireland (Satamile Records) and the
Munich based Supreme.ja (Subfunktion).
Extraterrestrial artwork comes from Michael Böhme, who has been active
in the Space Art scene since the 1980s and even participated in the
first art exhibition in outer space on the old M.I.R. space station in
1995.
The songs on this album take the listener on a journey from deep space
Electro cruisers to hard hitting Electrofunk power, Detroit Technobass
and Nu Electro to melodic soundscapes ala Kraftwerk.
