  │  Dead Weight marks the first chapter in the Toronto's DROWN trilogy.   ║
  │     Confronting feelings of bitter self-loathing, nihilism, and a      ║
  │ deeply-rooted hatred for just about everything in one's life, this EP  ║
  │         is simultaneously cathartic and down-right vitriolic.          ║
  │                                                                        ║
  │  Originally recorded only as demos, each chapter in the trilogy has    ║
  │ been selected to be released as-is, capturing what both vocalist Kyle  ║
  │   Anders and instrumentalist Evan Holly (both of Egregious Philbin)    ║
  │    consider to be a raw sort of magic of the time, being the first     ║
  │ musical endeavour the two laboured together on outside of their main   ║
  │                         project The Animist.                           ║
