     Led by producer, vocalist and keyboardist R.J. Rice (Ralph James Rice),
     R.J.'s Latest Arrival was an R&B, dance and soul music band from Detroit,
     Michigan. Formed in the late 70s, the group reached the peak of their
     popularity in the mid-80s and released their self-titled debut album in
     1979. Rudy 'Famous' Maldonado left the band during The Shackles Tour in
     1984, but was featured in the follow-up video for "Harmony".

     The group scored their biggest hit single in 1988 with "Off The Hook (With
     Your Love)". They scored other moderate hits on the US Billboard R&B chart
     throughout the 80s, eventually the group became more based in traditional
     R&B and soul music, but broke up in 1990.

     Rice went on to form Barak Records, an independent hip-hop record label
     based in Detroit, with Slum Village becoming the label's most notable act.
     Guitarist and co-producer Paul 'Fingers' Munro continued in the
     entertainment business creating the entertainment and record companies
     Zycron Media and Zycron Records, creating, producing and hosting the
     Hotspots television show airing on NBC and CBS affiliates.
