│ Mac N Dan released a series of well-received EPs on Autektone last ║
│ year, and now return with another dynamic three-tracker for the ║
│ label. "Take You Higher" is based on tough kicks and draws on epic ║
│ synth builds and rolling snares to create a huge, old-school ║
│ referencing track. On "Can You Feel It", the Northern Irish duo opt ║
│ for a similar approach: deploying concrete weight drums, they pepper ║
│ the arrangement with rave stabs and innocent-sounding vocal samples ║
│ to create a euphoric effect. "Belmont Stomp" follows in a similar ║
│ vein, and on this occasion, their pounding kicks underpin hardcore ║
│ bass and epic builds, leading to a slightly more ominous rave-tinged ║
│ finale. ║
