█░ The new project, Natural High, began in late Æ98 and ░█
█░ features Tim Best on piano, keyboards and guitar. Originally ░█
█░ a gigging band, for the purposes of recording, Natural High ░█
█░ evolved into a one-man project. ░█
█░ ░█
█░ Tim started formal music training at an early age, studying ░█
█░ piano, theory and composition. He then progressed to Music ░█
█░ College learning Jazz and Classical music and absorbing the ░█
█░ piano styles of Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea. ░█
█░ ░█
█░ After an intensive period of writing a publishing deal was ░█
█░ secured. A lot of the material was used in a band called A ░█
█░ Way of Life. An album was released by Warner Bros. and one ░█
█░ single made the UK Top 40. The band eventually split and Tim ░█
█░ went back to touring and recording work. For the next few ░█
█░ years he was constantly working around the world with ░█
█░ various artists. ░█
█░ ░█
█░ After settling back in the UK, there was a chance meeting ░█
█░ with two guys starting a new project called Down To The ░█
█░ Bone. This resulted in Tim working on their first album. He ░█
█░ wrote and played piano on the albumÆs big radio track, ░█
█░ ôBrooklyn Heights.ö This received huge UK and US airplay and ░█
█░ was included on many Jazz compilation albums. ░█
█░ ░█
█░ Another period of writing and recording followed working on ░█
█░ a more ambient dance influenced sound. This has resulted in ░█
█░ the first album by Natural High titled Pacific, which has ░█
█░ been signed to the new label Soulstis in the UK and to ░█
█░ Higher Octave Jazz in the US. ░█
