          Italian artist Maikibi aka Michael Brandi, returns to Piston         
     Recordings with the superb Bumaye. He recently appeared on our sister     
     label, Cylinder, with the impressive Stripped Down. Known for his tech    
      house fuelled DJ sets, Michael remains a mysterious character, which     
     adds to the intrigue surrounding him, we're delighted to see him here     
                                  once again.                                  

       Bumaye opens the release, settling into a solid, driving slice of       
        deep, minimal tech house. Chunky beats lead the way as pulsating       
      basses lurk on the low end. Cool vocals, laden with FX add character     
      as a very subtle melodic riff peeks through. Turn On offers a pacier     
     groove with a dancey bassline and more of those very cool vocals which    
      add an extra layer of rhythm to the groove. Squelchy notes complete      
          the construction, throwing in a bit of spice to proceedings.         
     Shambhalla completes the trio, with a much deeper effort. Strong beats    
      and a subby bass stand out as an array of mesmerizing, filtered and
