"Sometimes you make a drawer for pencils and label it 'pencils.' Or you put away
some important files in a manila folder marked 'important' so you remember not
to throw those things away. Well, once upon a time, I wrote some songs and put
them in a part of my life called 'Gregory and the Hawk' ...for loved ones.
Contrary to popular belief, it is just me! And I am a girl! My name is Meredith!
My music is my friends and my family, science, nature, personal reflection,
inhibition, anger and shame, changes of heart, youngness/younglessness, and
probably obsession let's not kid ourselves.
Right now I am living aimlessly about New York city and state, shredding on my
newly acquired 1968 Stella Harmony and falling in love with guitar all over
again. This June (2006) - bachelor's degree in hand - I am having my first real
record pressed and hope to play a lot of Gregory and the Hawk shows surrounding
the release.
