Release Notes:
Louie Vega takes us on a trip through the amazing grooves of his Vega
Records label -- a relatively recent imprint that has helped him explore
even more Latin and global influences in his music! The overall vibe
here is still mostly in a New York house mode, but there's plenty of
Afro Cuban styles coming into the mix as well -- not just in the
percussion, but also in some of the colors and flavors that dominate the
tunes as the set rolls on. CD 1 features a full mix by Louie -- with 15
tracks that include "The Drum (Mr V's alt mix)" by Mr V, "Let Me Love
You (Masters At Work mix)" by Anane with Mr V, "Gravity (Roots cub)" by
Selan, "V Gets Jazzy (ritual dub)" by Louie Vega feat Mr V, "Special
(Louie Vega rmx)" by Sara Devine, "Love Is On The Way (Dance Ritual
rmx)" by Louie Vega featuring Blaze, "Cerca De Mi" by Louie Vega with
Raul Midon, and "Calma (Louie Vega rmx)" by Bah Samba with Isabel
Fructoso. CD 2 features unmixed versions of 12 tracks!
