A legend in the making of French electronic music and adored for his
2006 album Epiphanie - with hits like "Midnight Swin" - Para One
presents his first full-length album since 2014 entitled: Machines Of
Loving Grace. Said to be released as part of a trilogy called Spectre,
part one finds its inspiration through what's been described as
Japanese anime soundtracks, Bulgarian folk, Indonesia's gamelan music,
Steve Reich and Detroit techno. Akira fans will no doubt hear these
influences in numbers like "Silicon Jungle", "Shin Sekai" and "Ars
Nova" which double down on something Reichian all the more in
"Atlantique". With this project said to be seven years in the making,
and remixes on the way from Actress, Call Super, Ricardo Villalobos
and Hot Chip - welcome back Para One!
