     A Toronto, Ontario-based rapper and producer with an ear for music
     (classically trained in the violin and cello) and a head for
     business, SAUKRATES was fed on the late-'80s and early-'90s rap
     styles of Special Ed, De La Soul, and the Native Tongues movement.
     He freestyled rhymes and based his lyrics on personal experiences
     and dreams. Once he started putting his rhymes to paper in 1989, the
     young MC began to seriously fine-tune his skills.

     In 1997, Ontario native Kareem Blake - performing as CHOCLAIR -
     released the single "21 Years" and was rewared with Canada's version
     of the Grammy- the Juno- for his debut efforts. The following year,
     he walked away with another Juno for Northern Touch and the
     accolades didn't stop there, as the emcee was awarded the
     prestigious Artist of the Year from the Urban Music Association of
     Canada in the summer of 1999.

     Read NFO note: this record is totally mislabeled/misprinted. it's
     not a Redman 12", it features tracks by Canadian MC's Sokrates and
     Choclair (although Redman is featured on first track). Side A is
     listed as Redman "FM Live" and side B is listed as Redman presents
     Choclair "Mack 4", also miscredited to Rockwilder as producer.
