Chicago's master of modern bossa returns with a wonderfully sweet EP -- 3 great
tracks that are all plenty darn nice, and which showcase Breuggen's magical
talent for blending bits of jazz and Brazilian with a sweet 60s vibe!
Instrumentation includes plenty of great guitar from Carl, plus earthy
percussion, bits of strings, and sweet jazzy lines on flute and accordion. But
perhaps best of all are these breezy wordless female vocals on the tracks --
sliding and slinking around the grooves with the same sort of quality as a
classic Italian soundtrack! Take it from us, this one's as musically appealing
as its cover -- a great retro-styled set that we'd rank up there with our
favorites from a few decades past.
