     ItÆs difficult to talk about Scottish fuzz-poppers The Vaselines without
     mentioning the æCÆ word, so letÆs get it out of the way. ItÆs certainly
     fair to say that theyÆre best known for Kurt CobainÆs patronage û Nirvana
     covered three of their songs (Son of a Gun, MollyÆs Lips and Jesus DoesnÆt
     Want Me for a Sunbeam), and he even named his daughter Frances Bean after
     vocalist/guitarist Frances McKee û but that shouldnÆt be allowed to obscure
     the rest of this intriguing story
