Portuguese DJ, producer and multi-artist Rui Santos aka Soulthek,
debuts on Piston Recordings with the fantastic Years After EP. Not
just a musical artist, Rui is also a graphic designer and
photographer. He is the owner at Slice Media where he combines his
love of music and visual art, with outstanding results. It's a
pleasure having him here and we hope to see and hear more from him
soon.
Peace Of Mind dishes out a sublime, smooth slice of deep house which
grabs a hold of you and does not let go for the duration. Mesmerising
vocals and warm chords abound as a solid, rhythmic groove unfolds,
making this the perfect club fodder for any set. Up next, we have the
original mix of Years After, a solid deep tech joint with a minimal
veneer. Chunky beats get us started before a throbbing bassline takes
control. Powerful drums add weight to the groove which will definitely
