MOLE is pleased to announce the debut release from alphawezen,
a.k.a aeric, who brought the world his own vision of sparse
housemusic under the LADOMAT imprint.
As alphawezen, he shows us a more personal side of his being. "gai
soleil" is a kind of off-shore vocal tune which through its pop
appeal manages to settle into the conciousness of the listener and
take on a life of its own.
System 1 appears at first to be a tame number, but in time the kick
drops into rollicking 4x4s + alongside a good dose of chopped
syncopation which kicks the flava up a notch. BAM!
Finally, "frost" a classic from the bins of alphawezen which
continually makes new impressions. An amen break trips over a
sequence which fades in and out of the ether, creating a nice half
speed pattern for those of us who prefer it chillier.
