-Scaldis- are a Belgium duo formed by Jef Aerts and Maarten
Voeten. They worked for four years on their debut album
'For starters'.
The result is a very mature record with ten tracks of
excellent IDM tunes. All these tracks are woven around
layers of beautiful melody and strong hip-hop minded
rhythms. Their sound can be compared to the better known
IDM acts around but still you can feel that it goes about
their personal life, influences and their dreams.
