WH018 finishes off this set in very fine form. Setting out with a
slice of neat, breezy downtempo house on the A1, it rolls into a
delicate broken beat, with a melodic touch reminiscent of early
Lone releases. A2 ups the NRG but retains the same sense of classy
restraint, with tight drum programming and a curving bassline
making the track pop. The B1 is a skyward facing bit of post-rave,
undulating ambience, with the B2 dipping into tidy melodic
electro. The B3 rolls out some wicked breakbeat manipulation,
closing what may be the finest Withhold record yet.
