█ ?█ "When two legends meetà what the heck can go ?█ █
█ ?█ wrong then???" But let's start with the special ?█ █
█ ?█ appearing guest star here: SAMY BIRNBACH is of ?█ █
█ ?█ course mostly known as DJ MORPHEUS, the Belgian ?█ █
█ ?█ man-blend of Gilles Peterson and the late great ?█ █
█ ?█ John Peel in one. He was the compiler of the ?█ █
█ ?█ acclaimed and world famous FREEZONE (SSR/Crammed) ?█ █
█ ?█ series, and is the host of his own Lysergic ?█ █
█ ?█ Factory radio show (aired weekly on several ?█ █
█ ?█ cutting-edge European stations)à a man with a ?█ █
█ ?█ rich musical history. Next to that, mid 80's, he ?█ █
█ ?█ was the lead singer and main lyricist with cult ?█ █
█ ?█ band MINIMAL COMPACT (produced by Wire founder ?█ █
█ ?█ Colin Newman) whose Middle-Eastern-tinged ?█ █
█ ?█ dance/rock exerted a strong influence, both in ?█ █
█ ?█ Europe and in Americaà On the other hand we have ?█ █
█ ?█ the beatsmith, the one called ERIC POWA B, ?█ █
█ ?█ launcher of several 80's music genres and ?█ █
█ ?█ nowadays full time electro spearheadà Together ?█ █
█ ?█ they produce this electropopsong, built around ?█ █
█ ?█ the already famous dreamy piano hook; the strong ?█ █
█ ?█ vocal performance from Samy - together with the ?█ █
█ ?█ electrobeats - do the rest: "à Get together nowà ?█ █
█ ?█ stay together nowà". Flip over for two more ?█ █
█ ?█ versions: the mysterious ONDERKLANK [SURPRISE ?█ █
█ ?█ 040] keeps most of the vocals intact but strips ?█ █
█ ?█ off the piano hook into a straight on minimal ?█ █
█ ?█ electro groover. Second track, b-side is a kind ?█ █
█ ?█ of Dub Version (without the vox), adding acidic ?█ █
█ ?█ bleeps, distorted guitarsynthriff and heavy ?█ █
█ ?█ electrobeats, thus making it all ready for the ?█ █
█ ?█ floor. ?█ █
