    > Notes:
Greyscale wrapping up a fruitful and rewarding 2021 with its last few
releases of the year. Mood Series #47 comes to us by Operandum and the
name of this stellar 4 tracker is 'Crossing the Chasm'. 'Bad Signal'
begins the EP with an amazing buildup that has you on pins and
needles. A perfectly paced opener that sets the mood in any serious DJ
set or any long drive. 'Black Swan' continues down the darker path
with the chords drenched in static interference and massive
reverberations in the mid and low ranges.

'Laundromat' has and ever-evolving chord hook that hoovers over the
linear rhythm wonderfully. 'Snorkling' rounds out the EP with perhaps
the most melodic focused one here. A beautifully tones piece that will
ring out in your subconscious long after its over. 'Crossing the
Chasm' blends a perfect balance of bridging a darker scenic route with
the perfect dose of hope and optimism. A killer release!
