adore is the second full-length venture for parisian artist i:cube
(nicolas chaix). combining tracks released on a trilogy of 12"s in
1999 with a few unreleased cuts, the album is a soulful and eclectic
venture that infuses the subtleties of dub with the funk of electro,
embracing elements of house, techno and trip-hop along the way. a
great release from an up-and-coming artist to watch.
this is not against mindscape, because i really appreciate lots of
their releases and the stuff they contribute. but since i asked them
a couple of times to fix their release of "adore" (tracks 1+12), i
finally decided to do it myself...
